An Act relative to police equipment.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 99 of Chapter 272 of the General Laws is hereby amended in Section 3 in the definition of “intercepting device” by adding at the end thereof the following sentence:--
A camera with audio recording capability mounted in a marked police vehicle or on the person of a uniformed police officer will not constitute a “intercepting device.”
