An Act to amend Chapter 90, section 24 by adding the following provision.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 24 of Chapter 90B of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following provision:
Notwithstanding any law or special law to the contrary, for the purposes of determining sentencing and other requirements for multiple convictions of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, any prior conviction of operating a vessel within the commonwealth while under the influence of alcohol or drugs shall be deemed to be an additional offense under this chapter.
