By Ms. Dykema of Holliston, a petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 1700) of Carolyn C. Dykema and others for legislation to require the reporting of certain contributions to the Unemployment Insurance Program and the Workers’ Compensation System.  Labor and Workforce Development.

An Act Relative to Transparency in Employee Benefits Reporting.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 151A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 9 the following section:-

Section 10. For any development that is in excess of $250,000 or more, the developer and said vendors shall provide to the executive office of labor and workforce development a true attested copy, by re-paid certified mail or electronic filing, of all payments to Massachusetts Unemployment Insurance program for all employees at jobsites in compliance with the state’s Unemployment Insurance laws.

SECTION 2. Section 6 of chapter 152 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-
