An Act relative to increasing penalties to employers who employ illegal immigrants.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 19C of chapter 149 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 16 and 17, the words “five hundred nor less than two hundred dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following:- "$10,000 nor less than $4,000".
