An Act Relative to Health Policy Commission oversight of insurer transactions.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. The first sentence of section 13 (a) of chapter 6D of the General Laws, as appearing in section 15 of chapter 224 of the acts of 2012, is hereby amended by inserting after the word  "organization”  the following words:- “carrier or behavioral health manager”   as defined in Chapter 176O.

SECTION 2.. The second sentence of section 13 (a) of chapter 6D of the General Laws, as appearing in section 15 of chapter 224 of the acts of 2012, by inserting after the word “to:” the following words:- “mergers or acquisitions of carriers or behavioral health managers”, as defined in Chapter 176O
