An Act relative to medication assisted treatment for opioid addiction.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Chapter 118E of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 10G the following new section:-

“Section 10 H.  The division shall provide coverage for the administration of  all Food and Drug Administration approved drugs for the treatment of opioid dependence and shall establish billing codes and rates of payment for licensed methadone clinics to provide services to eligible individuals needing treatment for opioid dependence.”
