An Act relative to drug overdose deaths.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 12A of Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 4 by inserting after the word “firearm,” the following words:-- or having examined or treated a person suspected of dying from injuries resulting from opiate, illegal or illicit drug overdose,
