An Act relative to death certificates.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 1 of chapter 46 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 28 after the word “disposition.”, the following:-

If the deceased has been cremated and such remains have been buried, the death certificate shall indicate both the crematory and the place of final disposition of such cremated remains, if available.
