An Act relative to the rights of persons licensed by the Department of Public Safety.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 146 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is hereby amended by striking section 66 in its entirety and replacing it with the following:

Prior to suspending or revoking any license or certification issued under this Chapter, to provide equal protection under the law, an Adjudicatory Proceeding shall first be conducted according to M.G. Law Chapter 30A Sections 1 and 11. The officials of the agency who will render the final decision shall be appointed by the Chief, who shall appoint three inspectors of the division, to act together as a board of appeal.
