An Act authorizing the city of Northampton to issue five above quota annual all-alcohol restaurant licenses.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 17 of chapter 138 of the general laws, and in addition to any authorized by existing special legislation, the licensing authority of the city of Northampton may issue above quota annual all-alcoholic restaurant licenses to Healthy Karma, LLC d/b/a Hinge, RIAS BAIXAS LLC d/b/a Ibiza Tapas, Local Burger LLC d/b/a Local Burger, OBCT Inc., d/b/a Sierra Grill and Sylvester's Fine Foods., Inc., d/b/a/ Sylvester's Restaurant. The licenses authorized hereunder shall be subject to all of the provisions of said chapter 138 except section 17. Upon revocation of any license authorized hereunder or upon the cessation of business of the licensee to exercise the license for six (6) consecutive months the license shall, after hearing, revert to the city for re-issuance to another licensee."
