An Act relative to elevator inspections for small towns.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 64 of Chapter 143 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following:
Provided, however, that elevators located on municipal property in a town of 5,000 residents or fewer, shall be inspected and tested at intervals of not less than five years.
