An Act relative to modern sporting rifles.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 121 of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “magazine” in line 35 the following: - Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, an AR platform rifle equipped with a telescoping stock shall not be considered an “Assault Weapon.”
