An Act relative to lottery ticket litter reduction.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 165 of the acts of 2014 is hereby amended by inserting in section 2, in item 0640-0010, the following clause:-

; and provided further, that not less than 20 per cent of the amount appropriated in this item shall be expended by the state treasurer for the creation, implementation, and marketing of a “second chance lottery program” to encourage the recycling of lottery tickets to reduce waste and litter.
