An Act relative to non-civil service lay off lists.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, professional firefighters involuntarily separated from service for non-civil service fire departments because of lack of work or lack of money or abolition of his position, his name shall be placed by the administrator on a reemployment list, maintained by the Department of Fire Services, for other non civil service departments.
