An Act relative to requiring a civil service exam in the Department of Transitional Assistance and the Department of Housing and Community Development.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding and general or special law to the contrary, the Division of Personnel Administration is required to conduct a Civil Service Exam for employees holding the title of Benefits Eligibility and Referral Social Worker A/B and C and D no later than one year after this law goes into effect.
