An Act concerning the transferal of innholders' licenses.

 

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to authorize the limited transferal of innholder licenses in Boston, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 129, after the first appearance of the word “license” the following:-

; provided, however, licenses granted to innholders in accordance with this paragraph shall be transferrable to an inn at the same location
