An Act relative to Russell Chamberland, an employee in the town of Sturbridge and Department of Transportation.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, Russell Chamberland, an employee of both the Town of Sturbridge and MassDOT, with dual contributions to two governmental units, who was hired on or before 1980, and notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, for the purposes of retirement calculations and determinations of credible service from the state retirement board, shall be exempt from the restrictions of Chapter 32, Section 5 (2)(e).
