An Act relative to the Massachusetts state retirement system.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. All municipal Police Dispatchers and Dispatch Supervisors will be granted Group 2 classification under the Massachusetts State Employees’ Retirement System. All municipal Police Dispatchers and Dispatch Supervisors who were previously changed from Group 2 to Group 1 will be reassigned to Group 2. For purposes of this paragraph, Group 2 shall mean employees with specified "hazardous duty" positions, such as those who provide direct care, custody, or supervision of parolees.
