An Act expanding creditable service benefits to veterans who served in the armed forces of the United States.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Subdivision (2) of section 4 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 448 of paragraph (b), after the words “permanent-intermittent or call fire fighter” the words- “or veteran, as defined under Section 6A of Chapter 115,”

Subdivision (2) of section 4 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 450 of paragraph (b), after the words “permanent-intermittent or call fire fighter” the word- “or veteran, as defined under Section 6A of Chapter 115,”
SECTION 3. Subdivision (2) of section 4 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 451 of paragraph (b), after the words “permanent-intermittent or call fire fighter” the word- “or veteran, as defined under Section 6A of Chapter 115,”
SECTION 4. Subdivision (2) of section 4 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 454 of paragraph (b), after the words “permanent-intermittent or call fire fighter” the words- “or veteran, as defined under Section 6A of Chapter 115,”
SECTION 5. Subdivision (2) of section 4 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 460 of paragraph (b), after the words “permanent-intermittent or call fire fighter” the words- “or veteran, as defined under Section 6A of Chapter 115,”
SECTION 6.
