An Act relative to military state income tax exemption.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Clause (2) of subsection (a) of section 2 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after subclause (Q), the following new subclause:-

(R) Any wages received from the United States government by a Massachusetts resident who is a member of the United States military and serving on active duty no matter where based.
