An Act Relative to Real Estate Tax Exemptions of Certain Veterans.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 5 of Chapter 59 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the words “five consecutive years” in lines 535 and 588 and inserting in place thereof the following:-

1 year

SECTION 2.  Said section 5 of said chapter 59, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out “five consecutive years” in lines 612, 656 and 697 and inserting in place thereof the following:-

1 year

SECTION 3.  Said section 5 of said chapter 59, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out “five consecutive years” in lines 736 and 756 and inserting in place thereof the following:-

1 year
