An Act eliminating the motor vehicle excise tax in the eighth and succeeding years.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 60A: Section 1 of the General Laws is amended by inserting the following language: 

“through the seventh year…10%,” after “in the fifth year” and  inserting the following  language at the end of the list: “in the eighth and succeeding years…none.”
