An Act relative to the conduct of legislative committees.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1.  Chapter 3 of the General Laws shall be amended by adding the following new section,

Section 35A.   All votes and decisions by members of the standing committees of the House, standing committees of the Senate, and joint committees of both legislative bodies, related to legislative bills, shall be taken in a public manner in accordance with the public meeting laws of the commonwealth.
