In the One Hundred and Eighty-Ninth General Court

An Act designating the Massachusetts Hospital School as the Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  The Massachusetts Hospital School in the town of Canton shall be designated and known as the Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children, in honor of Arthur M. Pappas, M.D., for his 41 years as chairman and guiding light of the Massachusetts Hospital School Board of Trustees; for his pioneering work in the field of orthopedics; and for his lifelong commitment to academics, child advocacy, and philanthropy.  The department of capital asset management and maintenance shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.

SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect upon passage.
