An Act designating a certain basketball court in the city of Boston as the Richard "Jazz" Maffie memorial basketball court.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section XXX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the basketball court located at the Toohig Park in the Dorchester section of the City of Boston that is owned and operated by the Department of Conservation and Recreation, shall be designated and known as the Richard "Jazz" Maffie Memorial Basketball Court. The Department of Conservation and Recreation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker bearing that designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
