An Act officially making the month of March multiple system atrophy awareness month.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby further amended by adding, after section 15TTTTT, the following:-

Section 15QQQQQ. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the month of March as Multiple System Atrophy Awareness Month, to increase awareness and understanding of the contributions made by persons suffering from MSA, which is a rare neurological condition with an unknown cause, and recommending that said month be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
