An Act concerning transparency and accountability of public funds used for wind and solar projects.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 23J Section 5 of the general laws is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following paragraph.

Expenditures of moneys for wind and solar plants from the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust grant, loan, or credits or federal finds distributed by the Commonwealth shall be posted on a web site maintained by the Mass Clean Energy Center for that purpose and updated monthly. The website information will include the recipient name, the program, date of award, award amount and the project name and location.
