An Act to amend Section 22, Section 10 (c) of Chapter 169 of the Acts of 2008 relative to Green Communities.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. SECTION 22, Section 10 (c) of Chapter 169 of the Acts of 2008 is hereby amended by inserting the following language: --
“(7) institute a municipal zero waste trash and expanded recycling program to reduce the amount of refuse material moving to landfills” after “(6) require all new residential construction over 3,000 square feet and all new commercial and industrial real estate construction to minimize, to the extent feasible, the life-cycle cost of the facility by utilizing energy efficiency, water conservation and other renewable or alternative energy technologies or”
