An Act relative to the access of computer terminals by private detectives licensed by the Department of State Police.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 30A of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "policies", in line 9, the following words:

, persons licensed by the Department of State Police pursuant to section twenty-five of chapter one hundred and forty-seven and in compliance with Sections 4 and 8 of the Federal Driver Privacy Protection Act (DPPA, 18 U.S.C. Section 2721, et seq.), to conduct criminal investigations for the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS)
