An Act relative to commercial vehicle registration.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 31 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- The rules and regulations required by this section shall allow the registrar to categorize as non-commercial motor vehicles those vehicles which would otherwise be categorized as commercial; provided, however, that this non-commercial categorization shall only be available for a private passenger motor vehicle classified as a commercial motor vehicle solely because of its number of wheels on the ground.
