An Act Relative to the Ride Service of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1.  Chapter 161A of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:-

Section 49.  The authority shall make the services of The Ride available to persons residing in any community within 25 miles of the city of Boston to transport them to the city of Boston for medical related purposes.

The authority shall be reimbursed for the costs of providing such services by the commonwealth health insurance connector board established by section 2 of chapter 176Q.
