An Act An act relative to expired licenses.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 90 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after Section 10 the following section:-

Section 10A. “No person who is operating a motor vehicle on an expired license shall be in violation of section 10 of this chapter, however, a person who operates a motor vehicle on an expired license shall be responsible for a civil violation with a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00), if the expiration is less than ninety days old, and one hundred dollars ($100.00) if such expiration is ninety days or greater.”
