An Act relative to speed limits.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 17 of said chapter 90, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 13, the words “or (4)” and inserting in place thereof the following:-

(4)  inside a thickly settled or business district on a way which is 40 feet wide or less, from curb to curb, and on which parking is not prohibited on one or both sides, or on which there is a dedicated bicycle lane, at a rate of speed exceeding 25 miles per hour for a distance of one-eighth of a mile, or (5).
