An Act prohibiting for-profit entities from managing charter schools.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Amend chapter 71, Section 89 (d) by adding at the end of the first sentence:

“ ;and, provided further, for-profit business and corporate entities shall be prohibited from managing a charter school on behalf of a charter school board of trustees.”
