An Act to implement full-day kindergarten.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 1B of chapter 69 of the general laws, as appearing in the 2012 official edition, is hereby amended by striking the words contained in lines 111-114, and inserting in place thereof the following:

The board shall establish the permissible and mandatory ages for school attendance provided that each child be required to attend a full-day educational program at kindergarten age.

SECTION 2.  Section 1 of chapter 76 of the general laws, as appearing in the 2012 official edition is hereby amended, by inserting in line 48, after the word, “education”, the following:

“and any child enrolled in full-day kindergarten”.
