An Act relative to the open meeting law.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

The first paragraph of subsection (c) of section 20 of chapter 30A of the General Laws, as appearing in chapter 485 of the acts of 2014, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:-

Notwithstanding the foregoing sentence, an elected local public body may meet no more than 2 times per year without filing or posting notice of such meeting; provided, that the meeting shall not relate to any official business of the elected local public body and shall be social or organizational in nature.
