An Act promoting affordable housing.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Sections 20 to 23, inclusive, of chapter 40B of the General Laws are hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. Section 6I of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 60, the figure “$10,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$100,000,000”.

SECTION 3. Section 31H of chapter 63 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 68, the figure “$10,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$100,000,000”.

SECTION 4. Section 2 of chapter 121D of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “sources” the following words:- in an amount no less than $1,000,000,000 in a 10 year period, such 10 year period beginning in state fiscal year 2016, and for each succeeding 10 year period.
