An Act relative to digital projectors.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 83 of chapter 143 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the owner, user or exhibitor of a cinematograph or motion picture machine operated with a digital projection system shall not be required to maintain a fire extinguisher in the booth or enclosure in which the digital projection system is kept or used.
