An Act prohibiting audits on residents over eighty..

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 3 of chapter 14 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

The commissioner shall not conduct any audit or compliance activity regarding any taxpayer of 80 years of age or more who is a resident of the commonwealth and whose gross annual income is less than $100,000.
