An Act relative to parking brakes.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 8 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “require”, in line 11, the following words:-

; provided, however, that no examination by the registrar shall require a person to use a vehicle that allows the examiner unobstructed access to the vehicle’s parking brake or to otherwise require that an examiner may make an emergency stop by using the examination vehicle’s parking brake.
