An Act authorizing the sale of certain real property known as 233 Quincy Street in Springfield, from the City of Springfield to Habitat for Humanity.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Chapter 30B, § 16, or any other general or special law to the contrary, the City of Springfield is hereby authorized to directly sell, transfer and convey legal and equitable title to a certain parcel of real property located within the City of Springfield, Hampden County, known as 233 Quincy Street, Parcel #10015-0077  (herein “the Property”), to Greater Springfield Habitat for Humanity Inc. (herein “Habitat”), for compensation in the amount of three thousand dollars ($3,000.00 USD). A description of the real estate is attached hereto.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
