An Act designating a certain bridge in the city of Boston as The Honorable Arthur J. Lewis, Jr. Bridge.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
The bridge on the West Roxbury Parkway, in the West Roxbury section of the city of Boston, shall be designated and known as The Honorable Arthur J. Lewis, Jr. Bridge in honor of Arthur J. Lewis, Jr. who served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the Eight Suffolk District from 1967-1972 and in the Massachusetts Senate for the First Suffolk and Norfolk District from 1973-1991. The Massachusetts Highway Department shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
