By Representative Peake of Provincetown and Senator Wolf, a joint petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 3662) of Sarah K. Peake and Daniel A. Wolf (by vote of the town) that the town of Orleans be authorized to abate public nuisances at Cedar Pond in said town caused by cormorants perching on the transmission lines.  Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture.  [Local Approval Received.]

An Act relative to abating a public nuisance on Cedar Pond in the town of Orleans.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  NStar Electric Company (Eversource Energy) shall undertake any and all actions necessary to abate the public nuisance caused by cormorants perching on the transmission lines owned by NStar Electric Company and located over Cedar Pond, a Great Pond in the Town of Orleans.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
