An Act authorizing the city of Everett to establish a linkage fee revolving fund.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1. Notwithstanding Section 53 of Chapter 44 of the General Laws, or any other general or special law to the contrary, the

City of Everett may establish a separate fund to be known as the Linkage Fee Revolving Fund which shall be kept separate and

apart from all other monies of the City by the City Treasurer and into which shall be deposited all linkage fees received by the City

of Everett.  The fund shall be used for the maintenance of streets, parks and public recreational facilities within the City of Everett

and the Mayor shall administer the funds for said purposes.  The Treasurer may invest such funds in the manner authorized by

Sections 54 of said Chapter 44.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon passage.
