An Act relative to reimbursement of certain costs regarding underground storage tanks and systems.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to forthwith increase the cap related to the reimbursement of certain costs regarding underground storage tanks and systems, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 5 of chapter 21J of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 7 and 8, the figure “$1,500,000” and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following figure:- $2,500,000.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect as of November 2, 2015.
