An Act relative to dual membership in retirement systems.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1.  Paragraph (e) of subdivision (2) of section 5 of chapter 32 of the General Laws as most recently amended by section 67 of chapter 165 of the acts of 2014, is hereby amended by adding after the word “section” at the end of the third sentence the following sentence: “This paragraph shall only apply if the combined salary for the period of dual membership is used in the calculation of the members’ retirement allowance.”
