An Act authorizing the city of Leominster to pay a certain unpaid bill.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  The Comptroller of the City of Leominster may pay, from sums appropriated, an unpaid bill incurred by the City in the amount of $23,495.13, which is legally unenforceable against the City, to D-E Corporation of Leominster, for HVAC services provided to the City in connection with the city-owned building at 37 Carter Street, notwithstanding the failure of the City to comply with the laws relative to procurement and competitive bidding in the awarding of the contract.

SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect upon its passage.
