An Act authorizing the town of Wayland to increase the annual spending limit for its recreation department revolving fund.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1. Notwithstanding clause (4) of the third paragraph of section 53E ½ of chapter 44 of the General Laws, the town of Wayland is hereby authorized to expend in any 1 fiscal year from the recreation department revolving fund not more than 5 per cent of the amount raised by taxation by the town in the most recent fiscal year for which a tax rate has been certified pursuant to section 23 of chapter 59 of the General Laws. The recreation department revolving fund shall be subject to all of said section 53E ½ except said clause (4) of the third paragraph.

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
