An Act relative to drivers licenses for international students.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.

An international student, who is at least 18 years old, with an F-1 visa from one of the countries in Appendix “C” of the RMV regulations, who has obtained their Massachusetts drivers permit, may continue to legally drive on the roads of the Commonwealth on his or her own country’s valid license for an additional 45 days following the date on which they received their Massachusetts driving permit.
