An Act validating action taken by the Martha's Vineyard Refuse Disposal and Resource Recovery District.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The actions taken by the District Committee of the Martha's Vineyard Refuse Disposal and Resource Recovery District on July 23, 2014 to authorize the issuance of bonds or notes in an amount up to $2,500,000.00 for the payment of the cost of capital improvements for the restructuring of traffic flow and residential drop-off at the District's Edgartown transfer station, are hereby ratified, approved and confirmed in all respects, and notwithstanding any general or special law or any provision of the District Agreement to the contrary, such bonds or notes may be issued by the District.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
